What is IELTS?
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) भनेको international English language proficiency test हो जसले तपाईंको Listening, Reading, Writing, र Speaking skills measure गर्छ।
यो test खासगरी study abroad, work visa, र immigration (PR) का लागि प्रयोग गरिन्छ।
आजको समयमा IELTS विश्वभर 11,000 भन्दा बढी universities, employers, professional bodies, र immigration authorities द्वारा accept गरिएको test हो।

Types of IELTS
IELTS मुख्यत: 2 types मा divide गरिएको हुन्छ।
IELTS Academic
- Higher education (Bachelor / Master / PhD) का लागि
- Universities र colleges ले admission को लागि require गर्छन्
- Mostly required for UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand
IELTS General Training
- Work visa का लागि
- Permanent Residency (PR) application मा

IELTS for Study, Work & PR
Study Abroad
विदेशमा study गर्न चाहने students का लागि IELTS धेरै universities ले mandatory requirement बनाएका छन्।
सामान्यतया universities ले 6.0 – 7.5 band score माग्छन्।
Work Visa
केही countries मा job visa apply गर्दा English proficiency proof चाहिन्छ, जहाँ IELTS score प्रयोग गर्न सकिन्छ।
Permanent Residency (PR)
Countries जस्तै Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand मा PR apply गर्दा IELTS score immigration point system मा count हुन्छ।
IELTS Validity
IELTS test score को validity 2 years हुन्छ।
Example:
यदि तपाईंले June 2024 मा IELTS test दिनुभयो भने, त्यो score June 2026 सम्म valid हुन्छ।
2 years पछि IELTS पुन: test दिनुपर्छ।
