Listening भनेको केवल audio सुन्ने process मात्र होइन; सुनेको information लाई correctly understand, interpret, र use गर्न सक्ने ability हो। IELTS Listening test मा तपाईंले विभिन्न conversations, discussions, र lectures सुन्नुहुन्छ र त्यसका आधारमा सही answers दिनु पर्छ।

यसको अर्थ, Listening भनेको hearing words मात्र होइन, understanding meaning हो। कहिलेकाहीँ answer direct word मा आउँछ, तर धेरै पटक information paraphrase भएर पनि आउन सक्छ। त्यसैले students ले language सँगै logic र context मा पनि ध्यान दिनुपर्छ।

IELTS Listening मा first important skill भनेको main idea बुझ्ने ability हो। कुनै conversation वा lecture को मुख्य विषय के हो, speaker हरू के discuss गरिरहेका छन्, र पूरा audio को overall purpose के हो भन्ने कुरा बुझ्न सक्नु आवश्यक हुन्छ।

IELTS Listening मा धेरै questions specific detail मा आधारित हुन्छन्, जस्तै dates, times, prices, names, places, numbers, वा short factual details।
